My team (in my signature) has been in free-fall for the past two weeks.

With Panda and Ellsbury on the DL, I've lost two of my top three picks, though the rest of my offense hasn't been altogether terrible. I'm average-ish in H, SB, AVG, and OPS, and below-average in R, HR, and RBI.

The main black holes in my lineup have been C (Ramos doesn't get enough playing time and hasn't gotten hot yet), SS (Alexei always has poor Aprils and isn't a world-beater anyway), and 2B/Util (Altuve is great, but Phillips hasn't gotten started yet). I expect that I can get dependable quality from Fielder, Butler, Bruce, and Jennings, and Choo, Heyward, Altuve, and Alvarez all have good upside, though lower floors. I don't see any obvious upgrade spots on my roster, other than SS and C, and those are generally tough ones to pry from people's hands. One manager has Castro/Bonifacio and YMolina/Napoli on his roster, but he isn't interested in moving his surplus. Another guy has Asdrubal and Rollins, but I don't know how much of an upgrade those guys would be. I'm thinking about offering a closer for Asdrubal and seeing if he bites.

Pitching-wise, I'm suffering from bad luck -- or the shortcomings of advanced stats, perhaps. I'm leading the league in SV, K, and K/BB, but near the bottom in W, ERA, WHIP, and QS.

Greinke is busy getting Nolasco-ed every 5th day, and FIP wonders E-Jax and Anthony Bass stopped preventing runs as soon as I added them to my roster. I'm hoping that Greinke gets his 2009 groove back, Latos and Scherzer build off of the success of their most recent starts (both of which happened on my bench, thank you very much), Beachy and Lewis continue their strong starts, and one of Minor/E-Jax/Bass turns into something resembling a dependable SP. Is that too much hope, or am I fine standing pat with my current staff?

You've had some bad luck recently, the team doesn't look bad... The back end of your staff could use some help based on matchups...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks for the response! But are you saying that I should keep trying to play matchups with the back end of my rotation and hope that my luck improves, or should I try to replace those SPs with better options?

FA SPs in my league include the following shmohawks:

Chris Capuano
Bartolo Colon
Brandon McCarthy
Wade Miley
James McDonald
Jake Arrieta
Tommy Milone
Mark Buehrle
Jason Vargas
Danny Duffy
Jonathon Niese (dropped by me last week)

I don't see any of them as being clear upgrades over the guys already on my roster.

Capuano, Milone are better than Bass and Minor in a QS, K/BB league... Yes, based on matchups these guys are interchangeable...
