I think I may have been shooting too high, offering Phillips for Bumgarner or Shields. Either way, no one even wanted to counter here. Everyone seems to hate B-Phil in my league. One even flaunted his Kipnis at me and laughed while I sulked away.
Either way, Chris Young is around the corner, so now I'm trying to trade LaHair (maybe with a side of Lynn). I'm shaking the "Fox"/"Puff-Pass"/"Yummo!" tiers to see what falls on my head, but nothin' so far. My thinking is that others' valuation of LaHair might be so low that if I did find a trade, I'd end up replacing one Lynn with another, and losing the value exchange.
Based on that final thought, would it make sense to try to move proven OFs like Pence or Bruce and try to land a stronger SP? ...orrrr should I hold and try to SP-wire my way to victory? I'm leaning toward the latter, but I keep second guessing myself. It's my second year in a keeper league and there's a lot of "contention v. investment" turmoil.
