1) FIPlash -- the feeling you get when one of your pitchers puts up a line that statheads love -- high Ks, low BBs and HRs -- and still abuses your ratios by giving up a ton of hits. Bonus if it happens against light-hitting teams. Examples of FIPlash from this season include:
Zack Greinke @CHC (3.2IP/5K/1BB/0HR/9H/8ER) -- 19.62 ERA, 2.40 WHIP, ~1.04 FIP Max Scherzer vs. SEA (5IP/6K/2BB/0HR/10H/5ER) -- 9.00 ERA, 2.40 WHIP, ~1.75 FIP Edwin Jackson vs. HOU (5IP/5K/0BB/0HR/7H/5ER -- 9.00 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, ~0.95 FIP
Yes, all of these starts happened on my team. When will Yahoo add FIP as its own stat category?
2) PAlvarized! -- When Pedro Alvarez hits a home run (see Sparkakis!)

The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Nice. I thought of another scenario that needs a name, though I don't have a good name for it yet:
When you bench one of your hitters and he hits a home run, that's a sonavabench, but what about when it happens against a pitcher that you've started? Sonavabenchslap?
And what about the practice of starting iffy hitters against pitchers you've started precisely so that you avoid this very situation?
As in, I sat Shin-Soo Choo against Colby Lewis on Friday, so of course he sonavabenchslapped me with a two-run jack in the 1st inning.

Hooray!
I noticed the xFIP shoutout in today's writeup - Sadly, xFIPlash doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
And yes, Colby is on my roster too, but I sat him for this start, at least.
