Lack of HRs and RBI are concerning. Looks like he may have altered his approach from last year and reverted to his approach in 2010.

Should I be selling or holding?

You don't have RBI opportunities unless the people in front you get on base. The team AVG is .202 & their OBP = .249.

..and their team avg and OBP last year ended up being .244 and .309, when McCutchen earned the value he brought to the draft table this year.

He had 21 hits (5 HR's) through 97 April at bats last year, and he's got 20 through 57 AB's, so far this month......once his FB% and GB% flatten out a bit he's going to be just fine.


I think he's a hold right now, or for those that don't own him, a buy low..
