I clearly flunked out of the Ron Popeil school! I know it's a small sample size but seeing what we have so far from Scioscia would you have ranked Iannetta higher?

So far Iannetta has played in all 10 of the Angels games where Ramos has only played in 8 out of 11. If Iannetta is getting into a majority of the games we could see career numbers from him this season.

I don't understand how Scioscia can have so much love for Ianetta and so much hate for Napoli.

I can only assume it has to do with defensive deficiencies.

I have the same question: Who has the better year- Iannetta or Ramos?

The Angels do have the luxury of starting Iannetta at DH, but can't see that happening often as Morales is certainly the better offensive option for them there.

I went ahead and made the change.

So far Iannetta is getting all the at bats while Ramos is sitting every 3rd day or so. Iannetta draws a lot of walks and for the first time in his career he won't be batting in front of the pitcher so opposing teams are going to have to pitch to him. While the Angels have a ton of DH candidates Iannetta is also likely to get some occasional at bats here as well. Lastly, if Iannetta goes in the tank I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get Ramos back any time I want him!
