I really want a big time SP to add to my rotation. To be quite honest, I prefer having two starters that I never really have to worry about when they're sent to the hill. Right now, I only feel that way about Gallardo.

I really want a Greinke, Sabathia, Price, etc...

Anyone that you think I might be able to buy low on or any suggestions, in general, on who I should go after. Also, what would you offer them from my team (in sig)?

Personally I think you'd be betteer off going after a middle tier starting pitcher like CJ Wilson, Madison Bumgarner, Adam Wainwright, Daniel Hudson, Jordan Zimmermann, etc. With David Ortiz, a player that you don't need on your team but has enough name recognition to entice some managers.

It's either that or trade either Reyes or Hanley for a top pitcher, but if you traded either of them you'd better be getting Kershaw, Halladay, or Verlander...

go after Bumgarner. Hopefully your leaguemates see him as a #2/3 guy. Don't be fooled. He is not.

I'd be OK offering Ethier for Bum. You could move Morales into the OF slot, and could maybe move a smaller arm for a smaller OF/bench bat. Some others may disagree, I just don't have the utmost faith in Ethier producing all year. Just my $0.02.

I'd offer Ethier for Bum, but unfortunately, Morales doesn't have OF eligibility in my league.

Willingham and Delmon Young are on the WW, though...

Offer Ethier and try to get Delmon. I think those two might have pretty comparable stats at the end of the year.
