Hey everyone, looking for some advice on my roster. It's a 14 team 5X5 PLUS OPS.

C- Miguel Montero
1B- Paul Konerko
2B- Jason Kipnis
3B- Miguel Cabrera
SS- Hanley Ramirez
OF- Giancarlo Stanton
OF- Adam Jones
OF- Jeff Francoeur
UTIL- Coco Crisp
UTIL- John Mayberry
Bench: Carlos Quentin (DL), Alex Presley, Jed Lowrie

SP- Felix Hernandez
SP- Gio Gonzalez
RP- John Axford
RP- Huston Street
P- Ricky Romero
P- Brad Lidge
P- Greg Holland
P- Joaquin Benoit
P- Mark Meloncon
Bench: Jonathan Sanchez, Mike Leake, Andrew Bailey (DL)

I pretty much struck out on the guys that were in contention to get a closer spot, but there's also the chance that Holland/Meloncon get the closer jobs in the future. Should I be patient and wait essentially hoping Axford/Street/vulture saves can carry me or go out and try to trade for someone? Waivers is pretty dry; Koji, Bastardo, Downs are the best guys available with Crain and Santiago also available and having long shots to be the Sox closer.

Also, since only two SP are required is having Romero/Sanchez/Leake overkill? Maybe pair one of them with someone else to improve the lineup a bit or try and work out one of those guys for a closer? A couple teams have really weak SP so I can probably wheel Romero for someone. Also, drop Lowrie for Eric Thames? Thanks for the help!

Sagnof!

Don't pay for saves.

Don't reach for closers in drafts

Don't trade for closers

You have at least 2.5 closers. That is a lot in a 14 team league.

Keep your sp and rotate them in. Drop lowrie for Thames.

Appreciate the advice. Probably should have known better to ask since every day I read about SAGNOF on here, just started to get a little worried that guys I picked up were missing out on the primary role of closer for their teams.
