An Anklebiter is any little guy that wins the respect of teammates and irrational hometown fans with his scrappy play and spunky attitude, while simultaneously irritating the shit out of normal, cynical fans and players. May have little man's syndrom. May have been the shrimp in school that picked fights 'cause he was the big guy's pet. May have male pattern baldness at 23. Normally has one OOGE feel-good-story year (for a 5'9" guy) then fades into relative mediocrity because he has no other skill-set other than annoying scrapiness. see: David Eckstein, Marcus Giles, Waner bros. Thought about this with Dusty-Doo Pedroia (after Scrappy-Doo, the most annoying anklebiter ever) in mind.

(was gonna work a shot at Eddie Gaedel in here....but that's just mean, fellas)

So congrats Dusty-Doo on your MVP that should have gone to Mauer. Prepare yourself for a underwhelming 12-.280-12 season, and a footnote in the baseball pages of time as a former MVP (shizz....even Ken Caminiti has one...ohhhh burn!).

Which leads me to...

Caminitis.....which is when a player juices to get huge year or two and then falls off the map so hard he think's the world's flat. Only quits 'cause he gets caught/fat-contract/scared/born-again. Like...Damn, Pronk used to be the man but.....I think he might have Caminitis. Note: Caminitis may be fatal (ooooooh...cheapshot. Too soon?)

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I like Caminitis for a player who has to overjuice for Steroids so he has a short peak and steep decline. Not sure Hafner has Caminitis but, if not, it's scary to think his head could grow bigger...

How about Sparky Anklebiter? As in...Why the hell do they keep bringing back Sparky Anklebiter to play shortstop?!?!

Sparky Anklebiter is even funnier. Wish I'd have thought of that.
