For my util spot? Who has the better, more resurgent season?

Is it Morneau, because it sounds like the Sciociapath may only start Morales against righties?

Morales has the higher upside, but Morneau can't be dead yet. I'd still probably take my chances with Morales.

Morneau has the bigger upside. He has an mvp with 34/130/.320

I don't like the playing time for either this year. Morneau is stuck in a crappy park and a worse lineup. Morales has more than 200 at bats once though in his career. Neither is pretty but I think Morales has more trade value because of pujols. Id rather have him only because I might be able to get more in a trade. If I had one to play or drop I'd rather have Morneau.

That's my point. We know what his ceiling is and we saw it 5 years ago. Meanwhile, he's been dinged the past two years. On the other hand, Morales put up Morneau's MVP numbers (34 HR, 108 RBI, 139 OPS+) in his first full season. I'd rather take my chances with Uber Morales.

Morneau blows and get hurt every year, his park and lineup also suck.

Morales had one long injury - lineup is stacked, Bobby B sucks.

He will outperform Morneau because Morneau is going to get hurt when he lays down to go to sleep one night.

Morneau said he is worried about playing 1B and will start off as the DH

Jeter shouldve gotten that MVP. Pretty much a coin flip, although I'd lean away from morneau. That concussion just seemed so bad.
