UTIL - Lind TOR
BN - Morrison MIA
BN - Moustakas KC

SP - Lester BOS
SP - Gio WAS
RP - Street SD
RP - Betancourt COL

A buddy of mine had me draft since I'm still laid up from surgery and he's out drinking in Nashville. I couldn't get logged on until after the third round, and luckily for him some dopes were taking SPs in the first round so he ended up with Miggy, Kinsler, and Reyes. I did the rest and think it looks pretty well rounded compared to the other squads, but what do you think? I just didn't want to F him up too bad. Thanks.

Yeah, he did have first pick so he automatically ended up with Miggy, but then the rest of the guys took pitchers all the way down to Lee before he even got to pick again. I couldn't believe it when I saw that's what he ended up with. This is a yearly redraft league for money. Pretty sure I'm gonna find my way in next season.

Haha, yeah. If its for money, you should definitely find a way to get in that league for next year. Reyes is a consensus top 17 player and Kinsler (14th in grey's rankings, 23rd in ADP on MDC) so its insane for anyone to get both of them in the 2nd and 3rd round. Either way, it should be a fun season for your buddy. Very nice of you to step in and draft for him. Cheers.

It was definitely a shock. When he found that out he was pretty excited. I mean, someone took Verlander with the 7th-ish pick. Why in the hell would you do that? Just stupid. Longoria, Fielder, Tulo, etc. were all still on the board and you go with Verlander? Someone should take your fantasy baseball man-card. And I could've sacrificed a little bit of offense and ended up with an ever more stacked pitching staff. When I took Lester, I still could've had Gallardo and MadBum at the same time. I seriously think someone took who I was targeting once in a 22 round draft. That has NEVER happened to me before. I'm kinda mad it wasn't a draft for me.

It seems like there are always a couple of guys who draft a pitcher in the first 20 picks. In my main league last week, my buddy took Verly at 7th also. I had Verlander on my team last year and he was def a beast, but I drafted him in the freaking 7th round!
