I would do that trade. Romero and Jiminez are the better pitchers.

I feel the chance wainwright wins the cy young in 2013 or 2014 makes him the best choice. And Fister is guaranteed 15 wins for the rest of the decade. Id hold.

Wainwright is definitely the best pitcher in this trade. I don't like Fister because he doesn't get the K's, but like Bourne said, he is going to get wins and he has had a solid ERA/WHIP every year that he's been in the league. Also, he seemed to turn a corner in the second half/in Detroit last year and his K/9 was over 7. Potential for a 3.00 ERA, 18 wins, and a 7.0 K/9 rate? Not bad at all.

Ubaldo is a solid pitcher and Romero is pretty good, but Ubaldo looked terrible last year and in the second half two years ago and Romero is pitching in the AL East, where no matter how good you are there's a risk of giving up tons of runs.

I'd prefer Wainwright/Fister, too.
