I was offered this deal in my 8 Team H2H League (roster in my signature):

I get: Felatio
I give: Krispie/Walden

I could then pick up Myers, Jim Johnson, or some other handcuff.

I’d then have Storen, Marmol, Farnsworth, and whoever I pick up. Pull the trigger?

Another offer from the same guy:

I get: Doc, BJ, and Guerra
I give: Lincecum, Krispie, and Walden

Both offers are on the table. Do I do either?

I'd take the second offer. You upgrade everywhere but saves (and some K's) and that's easy enough to fix.

Would you hang on to Guerra or drop him for someone like Myers, who might get more Ks? I definitely don't trust Guerra to keep the closing gig.

Now with the balance of speed and power, does Bonifacio become expendable in such a small league? I could drop him for Myers and play 5 closers at all time. Or I could drop him for Moose.

Myers. Then in a month you can use one closer to upgrade a bat or sp way better than boneface

I'm not as high on Bonifacio as some but I think he makes an excellent bench option. That being said, Myer's SP/RP eligibility would allow you to pick up saves from a SP spot when your starters aren't playing. If you're worried about Guerra coughing up the closer role I'd gab Myers for insurance.

Thanks to both of you. I went ahead and dropped Boneface for Myers leaving me with the 5 closers. That's the tough thing with the small leagues like this, there are is always someone available, but not always someone that could be dropped. I feel like with BJ added to my roster, I have a pretty good speed/power combo overall that Boneface's steals became expendable.

Would either of you take Thornton over Myers, even though Thornton isn't named the full time closer yet, whereas Myers has been?
