Taken to a hospital for X-Rays. Stanton said "It's not too bad right now. It seemed like initially that my hand locked up. We'll see tomorrow. It'll be nice and fat"

Well it's a good thing wrist injuries have never effected a hitters power at anytime ever...

He was rolling it around in the dugout. I'd be shocked if it was worse than a sprain.

This thread is funny. First off, you get "beaned" in the head. That's what getting "beaned" means. Can't really get "beaned in the wrist"...doesn't make much sense. Second, you can't "sprain" a wrist (or anything else) from getting hit by a baseball. :lol:

Hopefully the guys fine. I like watching him hit.

If you had actually used a REAL source, like dictionary.com, you would read this:

But hey...that's real cute...urban dictionary, lol.

Oh and also...yes you can sprain your wrist from "getting hit". But the object has to have enough force to physically bend the wrist back. I don't know about you, but I've NEVER heard of someone "spraining their wrist" on a HBP. Would love for you to come up with an example of that actually happening, though.
