I finally did one of my Yahoo! Winner's league drafts last night, and, true to form for this kind of league, was offered a trade within an hour of the draft being over.

He's offering me his David Wright and Mitch Moreland for my C.J. Wilson and Brian Wilson.

I know that Wright is a 2nd or 3rd round pick being offered for a 7th or 8th round SP, but I'm finding it difficult to pull the trigger. I have Lawrie and Youkilis capable of playing 3B already and Hanley should gain 3B eligibility early in the season. I know that without C.J. I'd still have Felix and Bumgarner, but I feel like with the three of them I should definitely have one of the strongest staffs in the league, which I hear gets all the ladies excited.
The OTHER Wilson is also my only "Safe" closer right now... I'm sure that I'll wind up with a decent number of saves either way, but it's nice having a guy that you know is going to close year round. I'm not that big a fan of Moreland, either.
The manager offering me Wright also has Longoria and Zimmerman, so clearly he's trying to unload a 3B. Should I counter with something else, go with this, or just say no?

Team:
C - Yadier Molina
1B - Kevin Youkilis
2B - Kelly Johnson
3B - Brett Lawrie
SS - Hanley Ramirez
OF - Ryan Braun

You have Hanley, but he's your SS. I'd take Wright...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks, Grey! While I was thinking about the trade and before I saw your response I talked to the guy, who, having bad pitching and Longo, Wright, and Zimmerman at 3B was fairly desperate to move a 3B for pitching, I inquired about Evan Longoria just to see what would happen...

We wound up going with me trading away Brett Lawrie, C.J. Wilson, and Brian Wilson and I received Longoria, Michael Cuddyer, and Alex Rios.

Is this better than the first trade or worse? It's painful losing Lawrie, but I feel like Longoria is much more of a sure thing than him or Wright, and Cuddyer should be way more useful than Moreland would have been.

You had the pitching to trade, just not sure I would've traded it for a position you already had. The trade's okay...

Yeah, I would have rather had a first basemen, but when I learned that Longo was just as available as Wright, it was too hard to not bite... I was also worried that I had to act quickly because if I didn't capitalize on him being desperate for pitching, someone else could have.
I might be able to flip Youkilis for Yovanni Gallardo or Jon Lester, which if I did, I'd overall have upgraded from Lawrie to Longo, Wilson to Gallardo/Lester, and side-graded from Youkilis to Cuddyer. Or I could try to 2FER1 Youkilis and someone else for a better 1B.

Should I hold for now and see how the spring shakes out or try to make another move or two ASAP to get squared away?

Yeah, it's just hard looking at my two firstbasemen right now knowing that I'll be lucky to get more than 20 HR's from either of them...

Still, I'm starting to feel glad that I didn't get Wright with the reports coming from camp. He screwed me royally in my RCL league last year (Along with 17 other guys - literally- that I drafted that had at least 1 DL stint or more) and I'm still having nightmares about that. I can't even look at Erin Andrews without shuddering now as I remember that she dated him at one time.
