Been fantasy baseballing for years in a redraft league, but want to change it to a keeper this year. I'm also weeding out the dud managers and (hopefully) replacing them with active managers. Here are the deets:

7x7 (regular categories plus OPS, K (batters), and QS, K/9 (pitchers)
Auction Draft - Saturday, March 24th at 8:00 PM EST
Rotisserie Scoring
Keepers will be starting this year, with these rules:
- you will be able to keep up to three players from your end of 2012 season roster
- a player may not be kept more than three consecutive years (carries over in a trade)
- a keeper will cost that player's previous year's draft price plus a keeper tax ($3 first year, $7 second year, $12 third year)
- the three players that each team pays the most money for at auction are "unkeepable" (carries over in a trade)
- keepers are optional; if you want to not keep anyone and start the auction draft with the full $260, go right ahead

My feeling is that these keeper rules will (1) allow the elite players to be up for grabs in the auction every year and (2) allow a new manager to replace someone leaving (which eventually happens in every league) to have an extremely minor (if any) disadvantage, as they can just start the new draft with all $260 rather than keeping any players.
