easy to say on Tues, my man. the fact is that hunter, not gore, was the listed starting rb that day for the 49ers.

Ya I know how it looks - and did when I posted. I just hadn't seen the thread before Sunday and when I saw it afterwards it was maddening. Gore was slightly banged up like most RB's but Hunter was def not the starter that week. It was a classic early season overreaction.

I beg to differ. Hunter def WAS the starter that week:

The 49ers are starting Kendall Hunter over Frank Gore against Philadelphia.It makes Hunter quite a bit more interesting from a fantasy perspective. The Eagles can't stop the run even when they sell out to stop it, and Hunter now looks to be a candidate for 16-20 touches. Gore is active for the game, but clearly isn't a fantasy option injured and coming off the bench. Oct 2 - 11:38 AM

Oh your right I guess they did make Hunter the starter - news to me. Maybe a Sunday morning call by SF? But seems like they didnt take too long in that game to decide he was fine. Rotoworld seems to have their mind made up that Gore should be traded by fantasy owners and Hunter is the bees-knees. The author likely has Hunter on his fantasy teams LOL. Gore is not done and plays hurt every week it seems - although I sure am fine not owning him.

I hear ya. I wonder how many benched Gore in favor of Hunter that day and lost out on 30 or so points. RotoWorld painted a pretty bleak picture for Gore that week. I've been pretty happy with them, other than that. I also check in on CBS sports and fftoolbox daily too. Do you have any favorite websites?
