So I've started Rivers for the past 3 weeks (and managed to win out of sheer luck) while Stafford sits on my bench. I'm tempted to start Rivers this week based on match-up but how much longer will he underperform and Stafford put up great numbers. So...who do I start in week 4?

Very helpful. You favor his matchup but that only matters if all else is equal. I know I sound like I'm leaning towards Stafford, but it's really just a past performance vs. match-up potential. I'd favor [insert underperforming bad QB here] matchup at Miami against Brady at Baltimore or SF, but would I ever not start Brady?

If you're deciding between Brady and Jason Campbell, that's one thing. If you're deciding between two guys that may finish in the top 5 you either have to go with the matchup or your gut. Or both. Or a coin. It's a tough call to say which one will outscore the other because it's likely to be close. Your gonna get points out of either guy, not a bad problem to have.
