I can trade Forte for a very good QB (definitely Stafford, possibly Brees or Rivers). But then I'm juggling my flex spot with guys like Nate Washington, James Starks, Denarius Moore, David Nelson, and potentially Kendall Hunter if Gore's hurt.

Hasselbeck has been great so far. And RBs are at a big premium this year, so it's nice to hoard three of 'em (Shady and DMC are my others).

So should I make a move to deal Forte for a QB and live with a matchups-based flex spot? Or can I ride the Hasselbeck wave?

(I asked this previously about Stafford, but got mixed results. I'm just trying to figure out if the negative responses were because of Stafford specifically, or if I simply don't need a QB change right now.)

(Sorry, I tend to write essays, but I like to get every point out there.)

The way I see it, RBs are at a major premium right now. And going into the week, I had three of the top four RBs in PPR (McCoy, Forte, and DMC). Plus, Hasselbeck has been very good and even if he falls back somewhat, my RB strength might be enough to make up for it. Having Calvin Johnson doesn't hurt either.

So do I really need to make a move, and would trading for a QB really be a big upgrade? Or can I play Hass (or a little matchups roulette) and let my RBs do the talking?

I feel like Brees and flex matchups is better than forte and qb matchups

Ya I would do it - but not for Stafford. Stafford is too much of an injury risk for me, but while healthy is great obviously. A QB like Brees or near equivalent is worth the flex spot juggling act.
