I don't get the strategies some people have. Maybe someone could explain this to me.

Guy in my (PPR) league owns Stafford and Big Ben, wants to trade Ben. His RBs are Chris Johnson and Jamaal Charles, his WRs are Mike Wallace and Hines Ward, his flex is usually Jordy Nelson (this week is was McGahee).

After losing Charles, I offered him Starks for Roethlisberger. Dude's his backup anyway (and I was offering a replacement if he wanted one) and he desperately needed a new RB. But he was nervous because he thought Ryan Grant could steal carries.

So today he made these trades:

Jordy Nelson for LaDanian Tomlinson
Chris Johnson for DeSean Jackson and Mike Tolbert

So he's scared because Starks isn't the clear cut #1, but he's willing to start two part-time RBs on other teams? His starting RBs are now LDT and Tolbert. And he had to trade Chris Johnson to get it done!

So I'm really confused. His lineup is now Stafford, LDT, Tolbert, Hines/McGahee, Wallace, D-Jax. Instead of: Chris Johnson, Starks, Hines/McGahee, Wallace, Jordy Nelson.

And he was so scared of splitting carries. I'm just befuddled.

I could see his CJ2k trade working out but the trade with you was better for all needs.

My biggest issue is how he said no to Starks because of splitting carries, and then traded for TOLBERT and TOMLINSON!

Tomlinson makes no sense.
