I ended up owning: Stafford, Calvin, Best; whom I like individually, but am a bit leery owning all together.

Thoughts? Not only is this basically an automatic loss on the bye week, but it's also just hard to imagine all three putting up ++ numbers every week.

In 2007, I owned Brady, Moss, Dillon, Watson and, I think, one other Patriot.

Worked out well for me until the the fantasy playoffs when they went to Miami and played in awful (wet) conditions. I was bounced out of the playoffs in the first round.

Until then, I had the highest point total in my league about 6-7 weeks, and by far, the highest overall point total. That week, I scored fewer than 50 points IIRC.

And I don't know what would have happened had Brady been injured earlier in the season.

All in all, I think the risk outweighs any benefits unless your team is a true offensive powerhouse (Rams circa 2000, Patriots circa 2007). And even then... one bad week late in the season (what if all your studs are benched for the last two regular season games?) can kill you.

In a h2h league you want a balance of consistency and upside. Stafford is a great example of this but most wide outs and a back like best
(backs on a pass first offense) are not. I would likely try to move best or Johnson depending on what you can get.

I just offered Calvin for VJax.

Honestly, WRs are so fluky and dependant on so many factors that any of the top talents could finish #1. VJ has a more stable Qb and could easily outperform Calvin this year. Let's hope it works out....

I don't think it's a negative thing to have multiple guys on the same team... I owned Matt Schaub, Arian Foster, and Andre Johnson on several teams last year and I had no complaints.
It's all about having the best players you can get. If they happen to be teammates, so be it.

Vjax for megatron is not nearly enough. If anyone, I would move best.

Agreed... I didn't see the trade when I posted before, but yeah, I wouldn't give up Calvin for Vincent Jackson. Jackson is really good, sure, but Calvin is elite. There's an important distinction there.
