Paul Goldschmidt and Delmon Young homered and drove in 2 runs. Ryan Zimmerman also added 2 RBI.

Hot Jason Bay also drove in 2 runs for the most Canadian team in the RCL. C.C. Sabathia allowed 1 run in 6 innings, but it was relievers who provided the key numbers. RIV had 6 pitchers each throw a scoreless inning, recording 8 strikeouts, plus a win (Sergio Santos) and a save (Joakim Soria).

East Lumber Jacks (Puff Puff Give) pitched 20 scoreless innings Saturday and recorded 21 Ks, led by Dan Haren and Anibal Sanchez, who both went the distance. Beef Supreme (RCL 3) picked up 2 wins and 2 saves with 12 strikeouts in 12 scoreless innings. Haren and David Hernandez were the winners, while Soria and Ryan Madson had the saves.
