i picked him in the 6th round and got my balls busted for it, i'm i seeing something different? He is in a bad team, that will likely be playing from behind a lot, and has great hands and wins lots of jump balls, he has played with Tavaris Jackson before so there has to be some kind of bond or chemistry there.... we run only 2 starting wr so i have Calvin Johnson as my #1 and Rice is my #2 its 12 team h2h, was it that bad of a desition?

Eh, he has a bad QB throwing to him and is still sort of coming off an injury... That's always rough. I grabbed him in like the 14th round in a deep league that starts 3 WR and 3 W/R and even then I thought about it a bit, but decided that his upside was more than worth it at that point. In the 6th round, though, I think that's a bit steep when there were probably other WR's available and you could've gotten Rice later.

2 words. Tavaris Jackson. He might be the worst starting QB in the league.

Rice is absolutely talented, there's no question there. And it IS possible for a great WR to have a good year even with a completely terrible QB; just look at what Calvin Johnson did with Reggie Ball at Georgia Tech.
It's just riskier, especially in the NFL.

I own him too. I think I may sit him week 1 just to see what happens. But would I rather go ahead and start him or start mike thomas, jacoby ford, or lance moore (if his crotch is ok) in his place? My other starting WRs are Wallace and Marshall.

I can vouch personally for Lance Moore's crotch.
