Fellas, it is good to be back!
I have 7th pick in my keeper league this year (we keep 2 players that were drafted in the 8th round or later the previous year). I’m trying to figure out what strategy i should take, seeing that i have Freeman and VJAX as my keepers.
With the 7th pick, it’s really hard to know who’s going to fall to me, I should mention that Vick and Darren McFadden are kept on another team. I really want to grab a Running back in the 1st round, but i refuse to draft Michael Turner as my 1st pick, because he’s on the decline.
My perfect draft would be
1. RB
2. RB
3. WR.
4. RB
5. RB
6. TE
I’m planning on rolling with Freeman as my starter (unless i can get ridiculous value in the late rounds on a QB).
If my 1st round pick comes to me, and my only options are Turner, Mendenhall, or Andre Johnson. Do i go with Mendenhall over Turner, or do i just flip the script and grab andre johnson and wait till round 2 to grab a RB?
Thoughts? comments? draft strategies from other people with the #7 pick?

Draft Andre and don't look back. I'd even go for another WR in the 2nd round (Fitz?) There will be plenty of RBs in rounds 3-6 to go after. Hightower, Felix, DeAngelo, Best, etc. Good luck.

DONT DRAFT TURNER!
#7 I would take AJ or CJ - I would love to have Larry Fitz in rd 2. Mendenhall is interesting because his nbrs aren't great with Big Ben @ QB - I think 75 yds running with him or 100+ w/o. Also we had like 400 carries last yr. Ugh stay away
Take WR not great rb value @ 7

freeman will have a good year, he is my sleeper as well.
