I understand what you're saying. that would work if people in my league had kept more pitching. everyone kapt more offense so pitching is gunna be the majority taken within the few rounds.

another thing is that I probably will trading him sometime this season. I've gotten several trade propositions over the past seasons but none were all that good

Peavy is some sort of demigod, and he's younger than he seems like he would be. I'd take him over almost any other pitcher today, including Lincecum (who could be brilliant but who also sort of scares me with his freakishness).

being a Giants fan I love Lincecum and his freakiness but it would be hard to pick between Lincecum who has tremendous upside or Peavy who is proven and is excellent

Peavy carries more question marks than any other top tier SP this year. If he leaves San Diego, he'll probably win more games, but his peripherals will suffer, but not as badly as his current home/road splits suggest. He also has some history of elbow problems. I rank him higher than Hernandez, even long term. No way would I put him over Lincecum. I understand being cautious because of their respective track records, but I think Tiny tim is clearly superior at this stage.
