I made a couple of trades this week. On Tuesday, in RCL 5, my Toronto Bautistas gave up Lance Berkman and Francisco Cordero for Michael Pineda and Jeremy Hellickson. 3rd place Raynor Shine made the offer, and I figured I could live with it. Couldn't really afford to lose Berkman and Cordero, but my team is floundering in 7th place, so how bad could this hurt?

Today, in Cracking The WHIP, The Vincibles sent Carlos Pena to Team Carner for Francisco Liriano. I had too many first basemen, and my pitching here is even worse than on the Bautistas, so I had to deal.

I sent out offers to all 11 teams, asking for Liriano, Jurrjens, Chacin, Carpenter, Romero, Bumgarner, Greinke, Anibal, Price, Tim Hudson, and Morrow. I'm satisfied with Liriano, since Pena was too often homering from my bench.
