You can check on stats for all 456 teams here:

Here is a look at the saves leader, Partially Torn RCL's Champaign Enema Bandits:

Looks like my offense is completely average at this point, good thing my pitching is above average in every category.

What I'd love to see sometime is how many GS teams have, maybe the average GS to this point. I think it would bring the pitching numbers into more perspective since some teams have probably already used up over half their starts.

Good work Vin!

Thanks!

Good point on games started. I'll try to work that in somewhere.

Yeah,

My strategy worked out beyond anything I expected. I was thinking that with streamers and a little luck, I might be able to get my ratios respectable; I never thought I'd reach 20 points between the two categories. So far I've been lucky: none of the closers I drafted have really shit the bed, so my ratios have held up.

And hitting... Sheesh, what my team has produced is just frickin' ridiculous. Again, really lucky drafting. Aside from Posey, no major injuries, and everyone else has performed near or above spec.

One problem I've found, though. When you have a team doing really well, nobody wnats to trade with you, even if the trade makes both teams better. It's kind of like chess: when you are ahead, exchanging equal pieces, all else held equal, is to your advantage because your proportional advantage increases. Same here. I cannot get my hands on pitching, even if I can conclusively demonstrate that the trade should give my opponent more standings points than I will get. My league-mates (I'm guessing here) figure they are better off allowing me to run away with offense be stuck with a lot of "wasted" production (if you are getting 12 points, it doesn't matter if you have 250 HR or 400... the extra 150 are "waste") than they would be if they traded a stud pitcher to me and allowed me to start picking up Ks and Ws. I'm not sure how to break the logjam, or even if it'd be possible without making some ridiculously sacrificial trades that I'm not willing to make (this early, anyway).

If only we were able to do inter-league RCL trading! I can't for the life of me make a deal to give away pitching and get back a decent bat.

Yeah the way I'm analyzing RCL 5 as far as pitching is calculating W/GS and K/GS to get a better perspective on which teams should gain and lose points in those cats. Pretty much if you are high in the standings and low in GS, you are in a good position.

I thought we disbanded RCL 5.
