Help me pick my keepers

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Postby ChrisD » Mon Jan 05, 2009 7:45 am

I am in a 14 team league and we can keep 8 below are the players I am thinking of keeping and the points they scored in my league last year.

Sizemore 505
Beltran 479
McLouth 437
Rollins 428
Quentin 407 (missed 2 or 3 weeks with a broken wrist)
Brandon Phillips 305 (missed 2 or 3 weeks with a broken finger)
Matt Weiters --

Billingsley 430
Cain 393
Verlander 333
Gallardo 46

I'd keep Sizemore, Beltran, McLouth, Rollins, Quentin, Phillips, Wieters and Billinsley. You'll be able to get back Cain and Verlander you don't want back. The only one you might lose that I like is Gallardo, but you have to make some sacrifices.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks. So you don't think Verlander will bounce back?

He'll be relatively better. He's not going to be an ace. He'll probably be in the low 4s on ERA.
