4 more trades this week, running the total to 76 in the 38 leagues.

On Tuesday, in RCL 34, Carl Crawford was traded from Selig Sucks to Hack Pack for Chris Young in a swap of under-performers. Selig Sucks is currently in 7th place with 67 points, including only 21 from hitters. Hack Pack is in 11th with 57 points (24 from hitters).

The other 3 trades were all in the ECFBL.

On Monday, Acme Explosives traded Dan Uggla to El Macho Borracho for Ryan Theriot and Josh Beckett. Theriot was then sent in a deal Tuesday with Scott Rolen, BJ Upton, and David Price to HatsForBats KeepBatsWarm for Martin Prado, Chad Billingsley, and Alex Gordon.

Wednesday, The Ville Al Koholic A sent Eric Hosmer to Boston Beaneaters for Ubaldo Jiminez.

I just accepted a trade in Partially Torn RCL. I hope I'm not messing with the fantasy gods who have been so kind to me so far.

I give Drew Stubbs and Justin Smoak to get Jered Weaver and Corey Hart.

Stubbs has been a crazy burner this year - he's on pace for something like 45 steals. And Smoak appears to be pretty solid, but his youth and his home park are going to make it difficult for him to exceed expectations. Meanwhile, I'm all 12s in offense, but have only 1 point for Ks, and just a few for wins, so I can use Weaver if he does 1/2 of what he did early in the year. And who knows about Hart...

I agonized over this trade; now all I can do is keep my fingers crossed.

Seems like a good risk to take. You can usually pick up steals if you need them. You have used fewer starts then the rest as well, so you can gain Ks and wins by using more pitchers. Of course, then you run the risk of hurting your ERA and WHIP.

I agonize too much over trades, going back and forth, until I just give up. Good luck!
