I loved the poll on the blog so much that I'd like to suggest that Snausage become a regular term in the Razzball lexicon. Not sure how it would be used yet, but I'm a believer that it could and should.

I think that any player fitting the description of a large, borderline overweight power hitter prospect would be a close definition. I'm thinking Pablo Sandoval, Kila Ka'aihue, or anyone close to the Hector Villanueva mold. Sort of a Bowden Fluffer for fat guys.

UPDATE #1: I just realized that this could technically fall under the "Country Strong" definition. There is some grey area there, and several of these Snausages could fall through the Country Strong cracks, necessitating another entry for big dudes with promise.

UPDATE #2: I can't believe I spent 7 minutes of my life doing this.

I love that you spent 7 minutes of your life doing this. Your passion is awesome so I don't want to outright deny Snausage. But could you use it in the sentence? I'm having a hard time imagining it as a description. For instance, I get "Adam Dunn hit a broken bat home run and as he rounded the bases he used the sawed-off wood to pick his teeth. Man, he's country strong." But I don't get "Pablo Sandoval threw to second and tweaked something in his snausage-arm..."? The King of the Snausages, Billy Butler hit a ground rule single tonight? Give me an idea of what you mean.

Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Like I said:

It was round 23 of my draft and I had the DH slot yet to fill in my lineup. My choices were between three Snausages: Kila, Sandoval or Butler. After clicking my mouse, my hands were covered with bacon grease and my dog wouldn't stop humping my leg.

Love your passion, just not feeling that addition. But Rudy can overrule me if he wants.

Well, we've already got Balbonis and Forsters which are more baseball-related derogatory term towards this type of player...

Balbonis - Any portly hitter - usually a 1B. Renowned for their power and lack of speed. Usually strikeout a lot. Not much shelf life. See Steve Balboni, Ron Hamelin, Ryan Howard, Prince Fielder, Cecil Fielder

Forsters - Any portly pitcher. Renowned for being surprisingly athletic given their weight - despite the fact they are indeed athletes and, thus, by definition should be athletic. Seem more likely to be lefty than righty. See Terry Forster (infamous as being called by Letterman a ‘tub of goo’), LaMarr Hoyt, David Wells, CC Sabathia, Rich Garces.

Ahh... The Ivory Tower of the West Coast! How's the breeze up there, guys? I swear I can see your nostrils from here!!

It's okay... Us Iowa folk find the term "Snausages" pretty hilarious. In fact, I just announced at our Thanksgiving table that instead of turkey this year, we're going to be eating Snausages. The table erupted in laughter. My grandma suggested that I suggest this term to the Razzball Glossary. Then I told them that Grey and Rudy denied the term. Then she started crying.

So thanks for ruining Thanksgiving, Razzball.

UPDATE: Grandma says she was crying because she accidentally cooked the dog. My bad.
