Please go easy, this being my first post. I went through the glossery end-to-end and didn't quite see something comparable
Histatia (or Mass Histatia) - A (massive) hot streak of compiling stats that causes other fantasy baseballers (credit to Grey's mom) to become so enamored that they start to offer outrageous trades to acquire the player.
Alt Def. - A hyped prospect has been called up with all the tools to make a major fantasy impact and every fantasy baseballer (credit to Grey's mom) is drooling to claim him off of waivers.

There's an area there for a term, but I think the term you have can be funnier.

The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I see what you're aiming for but Histatia isn't fun (or very easy) to say.
How about Hitteoroid for a player who is on an amazing streak that will end sooner vs. later with them falling back to Earth?
A Hitteorite is what's left after they've fallen back to earth.

Hitteoroid / Hitteorite are pretty good. How about a premature estaticator for the hyped rookie scenario? (sorry for keep using "stat")

I'm always one of the first to go after hyped prospects, so I wind up with them on my roster and then realize that I have no idea what to do with them. I call them Pet Rocks. Everyone's gotta have them, and once they're on your team they're practically useless.
(Emilio Bonifacio '09 was my favorite Pet Rock ever)
