I just made a last second switch, benching THome after looking at his recent gamelog. So Lee's in there.

Look for a Thome monster game against Halladay today.

I am such a moron. Had it right the first time. Even if Thome was facing Sandy Koufax, and Lee was facing Livan Hernandez, I must start Thome everytime. At least picking up Laroche worked.

I just don't understand why I can't bring myself to sit Lee down. I've benched Beltran, Thome, and Mclouth, and been deservingly burned to the tune of homers nearly every game. Yet this Lee guy sucks grapes, and I have played him everyday. He has 3 homers all year on the road, sit him! Me dummy.

I punted him finally... for Blalock who at least can sub in at 3b if necessary. I think Lee will have a dayoff tomorrow and perhaps play fairly sparingly ove the last week... and it's not like he is even outhitting too many middle infielders when he plays anyway.

Of course, he could hit 3 homers in the last week now that he's off my roster.

I think dropping Lee is fine. It shouldn't burn you too bad.
