Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Playoff Roster

Postby Get Figgy With It » Wed Sep 03, 2008 12:31 am

I finished in 2nd place in the regular season and have a bye this week (h2h, 12 team league, top 6 make playoffs, 5x5 scoring)...we only get 2 adds per week so I am trying to get my team ready this week for the match up next week and am looking ahead at players schedules and opponents and such...I currently have Encarnacion at 3B but am thinking about making a switch...I have Figgins on the bench who I could replace him with but I don't need more SBs and I really just need power and BA....I am looking at FA 3B and see Kouzmanoff (7 home games next week vs. LAD and SF), Wigginton (7 home vs PIT and CHC), Ian Stewart (3 games at Coors)...any suggestions?

SP - Zimmermann, Jose Fernandez, Bailey, Archer, Matt Moore, Shelby Miller, Wood
RP - Janssen, Henderson, Cishek, Ziegler, Brothers, Cisnero,
BN - Gattis

I'd go Wigginton, Stewart then Kouz, in that order.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I like Wigginton first. But I might actually hang onto Encarnacion over Stewart. Encarnacion is streaky, but he's 4 for his last 12 with 2 HR and 8 RBI (thanks to 1 grand slam). And Kouz at home doesn't interest me.

I have Nelson Cruz on my team...should I drop him for Wigginton? I could drop Figgins but I don't want my opponent to pick him up for the steals
