This is in a 14 team, 5x5, h2h, we keep 8 players from year to year. My team's in 2nd place, and the 11th place team is trying to get my Matt Holliday. He's offering: Ryan Howard, Howie Kendrick, Adam LaRoche, Derek Lowe, and Nick Blackburn. Yes, he's offering 5 for one; something which always pisses me off because additional players don't necessarily mean additional value. The guy offering is trying to make it look like he's overpaying. Of course, I'd prefer that he shave off the scrubs for a good SP, but he's got nothing to offer on that front. He does have Sizemore, but I don't think he's actually willing to overpay.

So, from my point of view, it's basically Howard and Kendrick for Holliday. I don't think I like it - even if Holliday were traded this winter. Yeah, Kendrick is an upgrade over Weeks; but so's Freddy Sanchez, right now, and he's a free agent in the league. Your thoughts?

Here's the rest of my team:

C - Russell Martin (I've been trying to trade him)
C - Brian McCann
1B - Conor Jackson
2B - Rickie Weeks
3B - Edwin Encarnacion
SS - Mike Aviles
IF - Chris Davis
IF - Jorge Cantu
OF - Corey Hart
OF - Rick Ankiel
OF - Matt Holliday
OF - Mike Cameron
OF - Lastings Milledge
Util - Marlon Byrd
BN - Mike Jacobs
BN - Chase Headley
DL - Rafael Furcal

P - Chad Billingsley
P - Jake Peavy
P - Justin Verlander
P - Hiroki Kuroda
P - Pedro Martinez
P - Jonathan Broxton
P - Salomon Torres
P - Manny Parra
P - Brian Wilson
P - John Grabow
BN - Mike Gonzalez
BN - Johnny Cueto

I agree with your assessment. It's not a good trade for you.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks. Do you think it would be more worthwhile if I could get Jar Jar in the deal?

Nah, I still wouldn't do it.
