I realize both Texas boys are having great years but I am not a fan of giving the MVP to players from teams that are out of the playoff hunt...

so would it really be...

Carlos Quentin???
28 HR, 84 RBI, 77 R, .280 BA, .547 SLG, .922 OPS

On a side note, only 10 of the top 25 fantasy hitters this season are from the AL (with Bay and Manny both switching leagues the number still stays at 10 as both are in the top 25)

I think the MVP is still up in the air. Quentin's as good a bet as any though. If Arod, Vlad or someone on the Sox gets hot, they could win it in the last two months.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I'll take 5/2 odds that it's Josh Hamilton. The media can't resist this story, and if the Rangers finish close to .500, they'll give it to Josh. The MVP doesn't have to be from a first place team (see Ryan Howard in 2006). A-Rod? Vlad? ...Meh...

You're probably right. Hamilton's story is hard to deny, unless he relapses.
