If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Steve, if you're into football too, don't miss "North Dallas Forty" by Peter Gent. Also see the movie with Nick Nolte, but as always, read the book first.

Thanks Hippo. Have you read October 1964? As a Cards fan, I'd say it's mandatory ;-)

Like football, too, although haven't read too widely. Have read David Maraniss' biography of Lombardi (When Pride Still Mattered - great read) as well as Instant Replay - Jerry Kramer's diary of the 1967 Packers season. And just recently I read Blindside, by Michael Lewis (the Moneyball guy, obviously), about the rise to prominence of the right tackle in the NFL - another great read.

Is Fantasyland the book that talks about Alexis Rios and a scout proclaiming that he is one of the greatest prospects ever seen?

Don't remember that. Don't remember much actually besides the Jacques Jones stuff and that I really enjoyed the book.

Guys - just want to say thanks for pointing me in the direction of 'Fantasyland'. I am about two-thirds of the way through and am just loving it. The pre-season and draft bits are all well and good, but I think I read my favourite bit (so far) last night:

Lawr Michaels in driving somewhere with his wife and he is listening to a game in which he has a pitcher going. The pitcher is getting shelled, but is left in there because, the radio guys say, there is no one up in the bullpen. Michaels launches into an expletive-ridden tirade (of a type that I certainly wouldn't get into infront of my wife) about the pitcher, the manager etc etc.

His wife calmy and quietly points out to him that perhaps he needs an outlet. Michaels' reply?

"This is my fucking outlet!"

I laughed until the tears ran down my face.
