I think a deal for Kemp would be amazing for the Sox and really stupid for the Dodgers.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is. Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I'd do 'er. What are the terms of Kemp's current deal with the Dodgers? Knowing how "giddy" Dodger ownership are for former Sox and how much Theo likes youth and financial control of them it is probably being worked on rather than just whispered about.

I feel like I've said this already or maybe it's tonight's post I'm writing but Torre wants Manny cause he wants to win now. I'm sure Torre doesn't know what to make of being near .500 and near 1st place. He wants to push them over with Manny.

Here's an update from boston.com: SI.com's John Heyman, who this afternoon wrote about the Dodgers potential interest in Manny Ramirez, has updated his report which now has the Philadelphia Phillies taking the lead as the team that could end up with Manny:
The Red Sox appear serious about trading slugger Manny Ramirez and are talking to the Phillies and two other teams about a deal, according to people familiar with the talks.
The Phillies may be the front-runner for Ramirez, who has told people he probably will OK a deal to Philadelphia if the teams can agree on a trade.
It isn't yet known what players would be going back to Boston, but left fielder Pat Burrell is having a similar year statistically (.277/.400/.585 with 26 HRs and 61 RBIs in 103 games for Burrell; .304/.400/.538 with 20 HRs and 68 RBIs in 98 games for Ramirez) and could be a logical fit. He has a no-trade clause but has told the Phillies in the past that he'd be willing to waive it for the Red Sox and Yankees.
Throw it up and see where it sticks.

I can't picture Burrell in Boston ending up well. He's similar to JD Drew only really unlikable.
