I am in 3rd place in my 10-team rotisserie league. I'd been in 1st most of April, but Johan, J. Sanchez and Bucchholz shredded my lead in the pitching categories and caused my descent. I have the following roster:

C - Soto
1B - Berkman
2B - Stewart
3B - Headley
SS - Reyes & Rollins (DL)
OF - Bourne, Crawford, Heyward, Ibanez, A. Jackson, Morgan & Victorino
SP - Lincecum, Wainwright, King Felix, Nolasco, Bucchholz, Johan, J. Sanchez & De La Rosa (DL)
RP - Capps & Valverde

I have been offered Broxton and Youkilis for Wainwright. Is that a fair trade in your opinion? I tried to trade Crawford for a power 1B as you'd suggested, but no one was interested. Should I drop Berkman for Loney? Also, Fukudome, Gardner, Gutierrez and Posednik are all currently available and hitting well. Are any of them worth a pickup and if so, who should I drop for them? Lastly, King Felix has pitched more like a pauper, should I hold on to him or offer to trade him?

Your insight would be greatly appreciated.

No way in hell is he gonna tell you to drop Berkman for Loney. I doubt any of the other waiver wire options are ownable.

Your team is absolutely stacked in starting pitching. I wouldn't trade one of those guys for a Youk, who is injury prone and won't hit over 30 HR.

What I would try is an upgrade at 1B with one of those pitchers. Say, Berkman and Wainwright for Texieria (you might get the Tex owner to throw in a donkeycorn, too). He's gone through his April slump and his owner is probably pulling his hair out. Another guy to maybe aim for would be Adrian Gonzales with that type of two for one deal.

ETA-----> Morneau might be a good choice in a two for one deal, too. Grey has him valued about 20 spots higher than most places, he gets to go against the worst pitching division in baseball, it's hard to pitch around him with all the power batting behind him, and his home park is favorable.

Anyway, I've been thinking about your dilemma and I'd definitely try to snag one of the top 1B for Berkman and one of your starters. If the Tex, Gonzo, and Morneau owners aren't up for trading, I'd probably go ahead and do the Youk deal. You need an upgrade at 1B and if you're getting Broxton in the deal, that's a plus. Try for one of the top 1B and if no takers I'd do the Youk deal.

I'd want F-Her. He'll be fine. I'd want Berkman over Loney.
