Frankly, they're both messes. I do like that Rauch will probably supplant Lyon.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Have grabbed Ayala. Drop him for Hanrahan? Or drop someone like Bruce?

Someone in my league got there first and added Saul Rivera. I saw that and did a doubletake and added Ayala.

Does anyone know if Ayala is the closer first, or does Rivera get saves as well?

If you're in a league that has limited roster moves, maybe just stick w/ Ayala. If moves aren't an issue, then picking up both certainly wouldn't hurt. While I'm not huge on Bruce, is there no one else to drop? a middle reliever or something? I just think there's got to be some schlump in your league who would appreciate Bruce - as a trade sweetener, if nothing else.

In my small mind, it's between Ayala and Hanrahan. Rivera's not really in the picture.

Something to keep in mind is that - while every save is valuable - this is the Nats' closer. We're not talking about innumerable opportunities, here.

No limit on roster moves. Dumped Posada for Hanrahan. I have Doumit and George's value looks as though it will be negligible for the rest of the year.

For sure... I'm looking for 10 saves and not K-Rod. Hanrahan is from the Des Moines area (Norwalk)... it's a rare sight to see me shy away from a fellow countryman, but I'm sticking with Ayala for now, but Hanrahan has closer type stuff.

Rauch was the clear cut guy and he only had 17 in 2/3 of the season. Don't hold two Nats closers that long.

I'll give them both a week or so to have the Nats make up their minds, then drop one or the other. I do, however, see Brian Wilson and Joel Hanrahan having very similar hard-throwing, if unspectacular stuff. I'm not too familiar with Ayala, but I like the fact that I beat everyone else in my one competetive league to both of them.

I'm totally awesome and you know it.
