He's a closer, you have to deal with it.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

i've spent my entire day thinking about him shitting the bed yesterday. I mean, is he done? I keep telling myself his velocity was the same as last year. The problem is, when you throw that 86 mph cheese down the gut double A players could hit it out. Ronny Cedeno covered one for crying out loud. I agree that I have no choice but to continue owning him but I would hate to see great ratio work done by my starters to be undone by Chief Fucking Hoffman.

He just blew another one! Have to think they're going to give him an extended break - I just wonder who is next in line there. I want it to be Villanueva, but I don't think they'd go to him first. Maybe LaTroy Hawkins?

I'm thinking about punting saves in one of my league. Just pretty much choose to lose saves every week. I'm basically down to one closer anyway, and if I could trade him for a bat or something, why bother? Why deal with these guys who turn a mound into a bed and just open up their anus on it? Too much defecation.
I like sports with balls in them.

Depends on your league style but that's legitimate. I still wouldn't do it though - if only because I'm sure a lot of your fellow league members feel the same way. And when the general tide turns in one direction or another, that's where you find a small competitive advantage.

I am hoping it is Villanueva as well, but my guess is that Macha goes with LaTroy Hawkins because he has that oh so valuable "closing experience", regardless of the fact that he sucked for the majority of that "experience".

When Hoffman blew his 2nd save against the Cardinals, he didn't even throw a change up. Then, he throws change ups to Doumit, who sits on them and rips them out. It doesn't look like he has a pitch that's working.

Safe to say Hoffman is on his way out of the closer role.
"That’s two days in a row for him," manager Ken Macha said to MLB.com after the game. "Tomorrow, if we have a chance to win it, perhaps it will be somebody else at the end.”

I picked up Gregg after the first week and it has paid off.
