I think the themes this week are trades and pick-ups. The Dogs of summer sent Alexei Ramirez and Chone Figgins to Chicago's Dick Harden (good work on staying current with the name change, by the way) for Vlad and The Sheff.

Unlike the above trade, which followed the rules, the next transaction created an explosion of allegations and cover-ups. Many lawsuits are pending and scars forming. Cheater one was Baron Von Vulturewins who sent Carlos Lee, Kobayashi, and Wheeler to the Rustic Trumpets for BJ Upton, Javier Vazquez, and Jared Burton. The rest of the league hopes it was worth being penalized your first two picks next season to get advice from Razzball about this move. Just kidding, nobody cares except BigFatHippo and you can just ignore him anyways.

The Fightin' BeerFarts sparked the second theme of the week when IowaCubs made the speculative move on Bonds. Everybody else, apparently filled with jealousy at the thought of not having their own player who may or may not play this season, decided it was time to go speculating. Much like the current housing situation the dust has not yet settled. Rustic decided knee ligaments were overrated and made the play for Gallardo, which in turn made Salty Bleeping Biscuits pick up Schmidt. I'm giving the edge to Gallardo on this one. Biscuits, it might be in your best interests that Schmidt doesn't make it back to the big leagues this season. BSA stepped up the game by picking up both Cameron Maybin and Rocco Baldelli.

p0rk's projected composite stats for these players: 3 H, 15 AB, 0 HR, 1 RBI, 1 SB; 17 IP, 15 H, 8 K, 6 BB, 4.50 ERA, 1 W, 2 L. I'll let you guys split up those stats between the 5 players. Pro-tip: the RBI goes to one of the pitchers.
