14 man 5x5 redraft roto


So going into my draft, I had everything worked out with the 14th pick, well, it did not go down that way. I have never, ever considered a SP before round 4 unless someone fell, well seeing Licnecum at 14,15 was to hard to pass for some reason, so I grabbed him and David Wright.

Anyway, my mid round starters were all grabbed way, way before they should have been thanks to a SP run and the stupid CBS rankings.

So here is my staff and my sorry RP. I mean when certain hitters fall 80 spots from where they should be, no way am I grabbing a closer when I can get a solid bat, esp. in a 14 man league. WITH am I going to do with my starters beyond Billingsley?

Being in a 14 man league, the WW looks like a bomb hit it, I mean I was considering Moyer over some of my players.

Should I play a wait and see or deal a big bat for a Sp or God forbid, a RP? I mean I do not hate Slowey, Billingsley or Santana but they will have to have good years for me to have a chance IMO.

I like Bills and Slowey a lot. If you get two good to great starters from those two and Lincecum, you should be fine in a 14 team league. I'd let it play out at first.

Not too confident about Billingsly (though he could get off to a great start...if that were the case, I'd trade him ASAP) but I do like Slowey for the season. As Grey said, let it play out

I hope Gio pans out. I really, really like him and I think this is the year we see what he does with 170+ IP. I have him ranked around 170 overall, CZam range IMO.
