Postby Steve » Sat Apr 03, 2010 8:39 pm

Somehow the commish got the #1 pick...

All seemed to go well until the Fowler pick. Should have gone for a power guy and got speed later. If I hadn't reached for Uggla, wouldn't have had much power at all. And fox? WTF? So much for SAGNOF, closers vanished like crazy...

24 Ryan Zimmerman, Was 3B
25 Curtis Granderson, NYY OF

Matt Capps at 168? Wow. That's crazy. Surprised to see you loaded up on so much starting pitching. Didn't think that was your MO. Those are great guys though, so you should be able to move them assuming everyone else isn't playing for 2nd.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

projected standings according to ESPN projections. Way too lazy to plug in razzball projections.

Capps was the best guy left!

Yeah, stronger pitching than I usually draft (just following the pairings!), even if ESPN doesn't think so. Zigging against my own zag maybe?

3 Alex Rodriguez, NYY 3B
22 Jacoby Ellsbury, Bos OF
27 Ian Kinsler, Tex 2B
46 Adam Lind, Tor OF
51 Dan Haren, Ari SP
70 Derrek Lee, ChC 1B
75 Andrew McCutchen, Pit OF
94 Elvis Andrus, Tex SS
99 Chris Carpenter, StL SP
118 Brian Wilson, SF RP
123 Billy Wagner, Atl RP
142 Nolan Reimold, Bal OF
147 Brett Anderson, Oak SP
166 Jonathan Sanchez, SF SP
171 Franklin Gutierrez, Sea OF
190 Huston Street, Col RP
195 Jorge Cantu, Fla 3B
214 Chris Iannetta, Col C
219 Scott Sizemore, Det 2B
238 Ted Lilly, ChC SP
243 Neftali Feliz, Tex RP
262 Cody Ross, Fla OF
267 Daniel Bard, Bos RP
286 Seth Smith, Col OF
291 Brandon Morrow, Tor SP

Didn't make my first 3 picks because I was too busy celebrating the Butler win. Really disappointed with the Ellsbury pick. I was chasing power the rest of the way. Probably should have taken someone other than Wagner. I don't trust him at all.

I think I'll do all right.

Well, according to them you're tied on WHIP, so if that nudges the right way your pitching's way stronger than your hitting which seems obvious. It is. Now trade Verlander for Werth. And trade your bottom 7 guys for A-Rod. I keed.

If Pierre hits 2 homers, you move up a point in average.

I'd go from 9th to 8th!
Just noticed I have way to many White Sox on my team. I guess the better win the pennant.
