package on the table - want input - now in voting

OK trade counteroffer from another team - he wants to me to send Longoria, Vlad, and Mauer for Curtis Granderson, Ivan Rodriguez and David Wright.
His team pre-trade has an outfield of Granderson, Hamilton, Ludwick, Rowand (b).
My outfield is currently Vlad, Bruce, Markakis, Pence (b)

Initially I had Figgins in the mix and he changed the offer to include catchers.
Last year Pudge pissed me off but trying to learn here at Razzball I think I am upgrading and can work things at catcher if Pudge poops the bed again. He's just so damn streaky!

You're getting Wright? That's an upgrade at 3B to me. Longoria is no sure thing, it is his first year after all. Granderson is finally hitting, plus he adds SBs - Vladdy no longer runs.

Mauer is definitely better than Pudge. But catchers are a cancer anyway. I'd do this trade based on the fact that you get a sure fire thing with Wright, won't have to worry about no rookie 2nd half slump. And the SBs upgrade with Granderson.

I think that's a solid trade for you. Longoria to Wright is good. Vlad to Grandy is okay and Mauer to Pudge is bad, but whatever, you just grab another catcher off waivers.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks Grey, I didn't expect you to do a double entry. It looks like different players like different formats and I like the variety. Thanks for your effort.

I'm getting greedy and using first half numbers to get Fielder in the mix. I asked that he include Fielder and I will include Morneau. We'll see. For the most part I'm OK with the trade as is.

You'll want Fielder, I'm being told Morneau's 2nd half power #s drop off dramatically.

I think you're right - in the 2nd half of 2007, Morneau's avg dropped 25 pts with 7 HR (24 HR in the first half). And, as I recall, I think he also hit more than 2/3 of his 2006 HR in the first half.

I threw three plans back saying that Pudge was a huge drop off.
A. Vlad/Longo for Grandy/Wright
B. Vlad/Longo/Mauer/Morneau for Grandy/Wright/Pudge/Fielder
C. Vlad/Longo/Morneau for Grandy/Wright/Fielder

In limbo.

OK I'm in the voting period with the following being accepted.
B. Vlad/Longo/Mauer/Morneau for Grandy/Wright/Pudge/Fielder
He must be a Twins fan. The only one I am sorry to see go is Mauer because he has been pretty steady.

Thanks for everyone's input helping me go for Fielder to sweeten the deal.
