I know that this will eventually be fodder for future posts, so I don't expect the Mustachioed One to tip his hand too much, but I recently ran across an interview on Fake Teams with Derek Carty where he unleashed this list:
Ian Stewart
Julio Borbon
Eric Young Jr.
Dallas McPherson
Koji Uehara
Brett Andersen
Jorge de la Rosa
I like a lot of names on this list, but which is these players is most likely to reach Davis-like hype by draft season, robbing sleeper status and adding too much risk to draft for a breakout?
Also, isn't it time that we give up on Dallas McPherson until he's actually given a starting position for a big league club?
See the comments on today's post re: Stewart. I've already mentioned Young. Don't really love Anderson or Uehara. McPherson's okay if he gets a job, but the league needs to be deep. Borbon will get a post soon (as will Stewart as you'll see from the comments).
