Mendenhall Vs. ...

Postby nostrathomas » Tue Oct 06, 2009 8:16 am

So this week presents a bit of problem yet again with my flex WR4/RB3 position. I've got parker and mendenhall, and the steelers play the lions. That looks a like a pretty good matchup for mendenhall should he get most of the carries. Do you see him getting most of the carries? I'm actually kind of glad Mcfadden went down so I don't need to waste anymore time playing someone from that offense. I'm not dropping him, but I'm not picking up Bush or Fargas. Ah hell nah!

So for that position I could play mendenhall, G. coffee, Parenthetical S. Smith or P. Harvin. Who you like there?

Also, what am I supposed to do with S. Smith? He's been amazing, but I don't feel like I should be playing him over Wayne, Moss, Jackson. You agree with that?

And one more thing. You like Romo vs. KC (i do) or Schaub vs. whoever he's playing (can't remember; he's the safe pick to me though)?

I think Tomlin is waiting to see how Parker looks. If there is any question I think I'd go with Coffee vs. the Rams, but if Parker doesn't practice fully I would go with Mendy.

Wouldn't play him over Wayne or Moss, and since Smith gets Asumogha and DJax gets Tampa Bay you have to go with DJax.

Schaub is the safer play.
Johnny Ringo: All right, 'lunger'. Let's do it.
Doc Holliday: Say when.

Doc Holliday: I'm your huckleberry...

Thanks. I'm number one in points in my league by 70, but have gotten unlucky and am in 2nd due to matchups. Basically its all slaton and mcfaddens fault. So I'm getting a little frustrated because I keep missing a lot of points left on my bench. I'll plan on going with coffee and schaub. I'll be out of town without internet access this weekend; so while I'd like to play mendenhall I think I'd rater stick with the more solid option. I gotta get an iphone or something
