I saw Dallas McPherson play in 5 games over the weekend against the Iowa Cubs (two double-headers). The man looks Country Strong, leading professional baseball in homeruns (27). If Uggla gets DL time, then Cantu could move over to play 2B, and McPherson to 3rd. I just picked him up in my NL Only league. I think I'd compare him to a left handed hitting Mark Reynolds... lots of strikeouts and many homers.

If you have roster space, he might be worth picking up everywhere if Uggla heads to the 15 day.

He just hit another homerun yesterday... he now has 29, and 12 more than Cantu since June 12th.
