12 teams, H2H, Non Keeper

I had my draft last weekend and I'm not sure if I like it or not. I've always drafted RB-heavy early in the draft in the past, but this year, the RBs just didn't fall to me and I would've had to reach for those who were available at my picks. And I also picked a TE way earlier this year than I used to in the past (Gates in the 5th round). So I feel that my team really doesn't have great RB depth... Anyway, here's my draft :

So my lineup looks like :
QB - Cutler
WR - White
WR - Wayne
RB - Peterson
RB - McFadden
Flex - Gonzalez
TE - Gates
K - Elam
DEF - NE
Bench - Cassel, Driver, Hester, D. Brown, Graham, J. Davis

Did I do fine with my draft? I think I got good value for McFadden, Gonzalez, Driver, Brown and Hester, but my RB depth looks really thin IMO... I was looking at Ronnie Brown for my 2nd round pick but he was taken with the 19th pick, so I went with White and Wayne at the turn instead. Pierre Thomas, Kevin Smith and Grant were the best RBs available at that spot... Would you have taken any of them instead of Wayne? And was Gates a good pick in the 5th (a full round after Witten, and Tony Gonz and Clark were taken later in that round)?

I think you did very well. I am starting to like K Smith more and more, but I probably would have done the same. Gates that late is fine. He will give you good value there. I'd say McFadden and Cutler are your shakiest starters. I am still high on McFadden and Cutler should be steady enough so I feel like you are ok there.

Keep an eye on how Graham is used early to see if he is going to be worth holding onto. Cassel is hurt, but has a pretty weak schedule during the fantasy playoffs so I think he is a long term hold unless something weird happens.

Thanks for your input Doc! I guess it's just that I was so used to have a lot of quality RBs in the past seasons that I wasn't truly in love with my team!

Meanwhile, I've got a few trade talks with other managers. My Anthony Gonzalez for Ray Rice is a possibility... Do you like it?

Another guy has Forte, Chris Johnson and Grant and is looking to trade one of them. Would my Reggie Wayne for his Chris Johnson be a better trade for me than the Gonzlalez/Rice swap?

Or should I just stand pat?

If you could get CJ for Wayne I would do that.

Gonzo II for Rice is a little riskier, but pretty close. I would look at the first one and then revisit the second.
