12 team league, start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, Flex W/R, TE, K, Def with .5 PPR and 6 for TD passes.
I have the 9th and 16th picks. Looking for suggestions on who to target. Standard 2 RB approach? Take Randy/Larry first and then best available RB or WR? What if I could come up with either Randy/Larry and then TB or Brees at 16th?

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of taking the best available WR at both top picks, especially with the half PPR.

If you go with the 2 WRs try to get AJ with one. He will top 100 receptions no problem.

If LT or SJax falls to you, i'd grab them. Other than that, I really like taking the best WR available there. You'll probably get your pick of the litter. I like Fitz/Moss slightly more than Andre. While Andre might have a higher ceiling because we don't know what he's capable of yet over 16 games with Schaub, Fitz and Moss' edge in touchdowns offset the advantage Andre has in receptions. Just a matter of personal preference.

I think I 100% agree with you. Ill take LT or SJax there, but otherwise I would go Moss/Fitz/Andre in that order. I think it's wishful thinking to hope I get Moss/Fitz and then Andre 2nd pick (would be awesome though). If a slew of WR's go after I take one (which very possibly could happen), Ill probably have to revert to an RB with my second pick.

Doc, do you think that the .5 PPR pushes AJ ahead of Randy or Larry?

I have AJ ahead of Fitz anyway, but I think it pushes him further ahead. AJ was hurt by Schaub going down last year and I think with a full year his TD production will rise. But I'd still have Moss, AJ, then Fitz. Without ppr Fitz and AJ are very close in my opinion.
