Is there such a thing as a good sonovabench?

Exclamation when one sees that a player on their bench has had a monster day. "I started Conor Jackson over Adam LaRoche today. So what does LaRoche do? Hit two home runs. Sonavabench!" Now tell us yours.

Is there such a thing as a good sonovabench?

Postby inertiatic » Tue Aug 18, 2009 11:53 pm

BJ Upton has had his backside firmly planted on my bench for a week or so due to his terrible run lately, so I missed out on his 3/4 with a HR + 2 RBI night. But I'm not pissed about it. I'm glad he had a good game and hopefully he gets it together. A hot streak would certainly be a nice change of pace.

C'mon beej don't suck hairy cojones all season.

Yeah, I could see that.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Sometimes the pessimist in me believes you need some sonavabenches to get a guy turned around. Like he wouldn't have had any good performances if you had played him.
