I started both Thome and Milledge today. Wish I had sat Mr. T.

Tomorrow I have one spot open for these 2.

Milledge vs. lefty Olson or Thome vs. righty Gallagher.

Thome actually has had much better stats vs. lefties this year and has struggled mightily vs. righties. But he has burned me several times. When I thought he was toast, he hits a homer when I bench him.

Who do you like better for one game tomorrow?

Usually I'd take Thome but I'd start Milledge here.

Good call Grey. Even though he only got one AB, still was better than Thome. I was leaning toward Milledge too but I have had bad luck with lineup decisions this year.

For example, I have sat Mclouth six times, and he has 5 homers in those games. From now on, I'll just have someone else decide for me. LOL.

Thome comes up big with a last AB homer! With 2 hits he has as many hits as my other 8 guys today. LOL.

I am very happy I made a last minute lineup change and benched Branyan to play Thome.

On the bad side, I benched Slowey, who pulled a Ben Sheets impression despite pitching against Sheets, and Cust. Good news is I own two of the three lefties who have homered off J Sanchez, bad news is that I sat the guys both times. Slumping Cust vs. Sanchez or slumping Mclouth vs. Sonnastine... hard to justify starting Cust.
